Claire Sinelli is a photographer and social media marketer in Metro Detroit. She shoots a diverse range of subjects for commercial and editorial clients, all with a clean and bright aesthetic.

Cvaire is a pseudonym—the shortest and easiest username that was close to my name and available. I’m Claire Sinelli (she/her). Eight years ago I was a freelance artist fresh out of community college taking pictures for high school seniors for some extra cash and to make a name for myself in my home town of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fast forward to today: this passion project has grown into my dream career with photography work spanning across the U.S.

I met my past-videographer-turned-now-tattoo-artist husband, and we constantly bounce ideas off each other and energize each other’s passion for our different types of art. You can find us on opposite ends of the couch editing on our iPads and occasionally offering a peek and a “what do you think about this?” I spend my days off playing with our golden retriever and cuddling our two cats, planning out future tattoos, constantly moving furniture around just in case it looks better, and reading books on my kindle.

Somewhere along the way I discovered my love for connecting with people on the internet. I dissected several social media platforms and worked on growing my own following. From there I realized I could make money working with media on a personal level, through advertising brands that align with me on my own accounts just by being myself and having fun posting pictures. From the countless hours spent researching algorithm changes and growth charts, I discovered a strong need in the community for a more straightforward method of sharing these vital skills with creators all in one place.

My passion of showing people love and excitement through all mediums—from wedding portraiture, food photography, and editorial content—naturally expanded to corporate marketing. I started working with several restaurants in Ann Arbor as a marketing coordinator while also beginning to mentor artists and coaching amateur models with posing, and how to present themselves online to manifest their dream career. My vision is to teach others to consistently land jobs and grow their own small businesses on social media and in the real world.
